Pecu Mobile app

Pecu is a mobile app for children designed to help families spend more meaningful time together while learning about food, gardening, and how to grow their own fruits and vegetables. It supports parents and educators with activities and tools that make it easier to engage children in meaningful, hands-on experiences, encouraging curiosity, outdoor exploration, and community participation.

I designed Pecu to promote participation in urban gardens across Barcelona through interactive learning modules and accessible educational content focused on growing food. The experience includes guided garden activities that help children plan and build their own vegetable gardens, along with courses and challenges that deepen learning over time. Users can track progress, earn badges that reward participation, and connect with a supportive community to ask questions and share experiences. Additional features allow families to enroll in local urban gardens and discover nearby events, helping them engage with real-world community initiatives.
